Ngima Tashi Sherpa Project Manager and Co-ordinator
Ngima Tashi Sherpa is a native of the beautiful Khunde village nestled in the heart of the Everest region, where his passion for adventure and cultural exploration was ignited. With a bachelor's degree in Travel and Tourism Management from Nepal College of Travel and Tourism, Ngima embarked on a journey to become a versatile trekking leader, specializing in trekking adventures around Everest, Tsum Valley, and Poon Hill. In addition to his role as a trekking leader, Ngima serves as a cultural ambassador, offering captivating tours of Kathmandu's rich heritage sites. With a deep understanding of Nepali history and traditions, he brings ancient stories to life, weaving together narratives of kings and temples, art and architecture, and spirituality and mythology. Beyond his work, Ngima has also dedicated himself to service and community engagement. As a Volunteer Manager, he honed his skills in project management and leadership, overseeing incoming volunteers and coordinating impactful initiatives that contribute to the betterment of local communities.
Tsering Gyurmey Lama PR & Marketing Officer
Tsering Gyurmey is a versatile professional who wears multiple hats in the realm of education and non-profit work. As a Project Manager and Program Facilitator, he plays a pivotal role at Edulift, an educational non-profit organization. With a creative flair, Tsering also serves as the Social Media Manager for Tsum Valley Trek and Expedition, showcasing his proficiency in digital communication. His talents extend beyond the digital sphere; he is skilled in shooting and editing professional videos and possesses a keen eye for design. Furthermore, Tsering's photography and videography journey is multifaceted, encompassing various genres such as social events, weddings, architecture, and documentary photography. His diverse skill set reflects his preference for being a flexible and creative individual rather than pigeonholing himself as an expert in one specific domain.
Tanzin Gyalzen TsumpaDirector
Tanzin Gyalzen Lama is Founder and CEO of Tsum Valley Trek and Expedition Pvt Ltd and Himalayan Skydive Pvt. Ltd. Tanzin Gyalzen Lama was born in Tsum valley and he graduated with a Bachelor in Tourism Management. He has also completed the Basic Mountaineering Course and Mountain Leader Course. With 13 years of experience in trekking and mountaineering, he has successfully climbed mountains like Amadablam, Mera and Lobuche. Regarding his involvement in social activities, he is the board member of Nepal Mountain Leader Association, Treasurer of Compassion Health Center. He is very passionate about working towards improvement of health of local people, conservation of local culture, tradition and environment. Preservation of the natural biodiversity and its beautiful pristine environment is absolutely critical to the region and its inhabitants; therefore, Tanzin’s work is mostly aimed at generating income for the improvement of Tsum Valley and life of the local people.
