By applying to volunteer with IVIN, you agree to provide accurate and complete information in your application. IVIN reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its discretion. Volunteers are expected to adhere to the program's terms and follow IVIN's guidelines during their stay in Nepal.
Volunteers are required to pay a fee for participation in IVIN’s programs. This fee covers various costs including accommodation, meals, and administrative support. Payment must be made in full before the start of the program unless otherwise agreed upon. IVIN reserves the right to modify program fees at any time, and any changes will be communicated to the volunteer in advance.
Volunteers must ensure they have adequate travel and medical insurance before participating in any program. IVIN is not responsible for any health issues or accidents that occur during the volunteer’s stay. Volunteers are advised to consult their doctor before traveling and ensure they are fit to volunteer.
Volunteers are expected to act professionally, respectfully, and responsibly throughout their program. This includes following local laws, respecting cultural practices, and cooperating with local teams. Volunteers must comply with IVIN’s guidelines and instructions and may be removed from the program if their behavior is deemed inappropriate.
IVIN is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or losses that occur during the volunteer program. By participating in our programs, you agree to release IVIN from any and all liability associated with your volunteer experience.
IVIN reserves the right to make changes to or cancel any volunteer program due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, or other factors beyond our control. In such cases, volunteers will be notified as soon as possible, and alternate arrangements may be provided.
Accommodation and meals for volunteers will be provided as per the program details. IVIN ensures that accommodation is safe, clean, and conducive to the volunteer experience. Volunteers may be required to share rooms or facilities with other participants. Volunteers are expected to respect the accommodations and local customs.
Volunteers are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times. Discrimination, harassment, or any form of abusive behavior will not be tolerated. IVIN reserves the right to dismiss any volunteer who violates this code of conduct.
If you wish to cancel your volunteer participation, you must notify IVIN in writing. Refunds will be subject to IVIN's cancellation policy and the amount of notice provided. A partial refund may be given if the cancellation occurs before the program start date, subject to specific terms outlined in the volunteer agreement.
Volunteers are encouraged to provide feedback on their experience, which helps improve the quality of the programs. IVIN may collect, analyze, and use feedback to enhance future programs. By providing feedback, volunteers agree that their responses may be used publicly, unless they specify otherwise.
Volunteers are expected to adhere to IVIN’s behavioral guidelines. Any conduct that disrupts the volunteer program or puts others at risk may result in removal from the program without refund. Volunteers are expected to resolve conflicts peacefully and with respect for others.
Volunteers agree that IVIN may take photographs or videos of them during the program for promotional and educational purposes. Volunteers can request not to be photographed, and IVIN will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests.
IVIN may communicate with volunteers via email, phone, or other methods during their volunteer program. Volunteers are responsible for providing accurate contact information and keeping it up-to-date.
IVIN reserves the right to amend or update these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on the website, and the revised terms will take effect immediately. Volunteers are advised to check this page regularly for updates.
