Location

Khumjung / Khunde Valley (Everest Region)

Overview

Himalayan regions are very thinly populated. Because of the rough terrain and topography, there are no such facilities and infrastructures for even the basic rights of human beings like education. As the government is slowly improving and with the help from foreign aid, there are few schools in the Himalayan region. The major problem is that there are no teachers in many schools and some of them have less trained teachers. Thus volunteering in those regions could be the greatest gift for them while you enjoy the beauty of nature. We have two beautiful places for your option. One is Tsum Valley and the other is Namche Bazar, the gateway to Everest. At Least a month-long volunteering is needed in such remote areas so that you will have ample time to understand their cultures and traditions and the teachers and students will learn a lot from your presence.
